Ken Mwatha

Ken Mwatha, MD, earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2007, where he also went on to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine. He currently serves as an Attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Ken Mwatha earned Board Certification in Emergency Medicine in 2011.

In addition to his professional duties, Dr. Ken Mwatha contributed to the growing body of knowledge in his profession, having participated as a research assistant on several research projects at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Mwatha is keenly interested in Emergency Ultrasound, Wilderness Medicine, Sports Medicine and International Medicine. He played rugby throughout his college years at the University of Wyoming and afterward for the Baltimore-Chesapeake Rugby Club that is part of a National league. He currently plays soccer in several soccer leagues in Maryland.
